The alarm didn't go off!
Did you activate the lock screen after setting the alarm? If so: don't. Just set the alarm and the app will enter its low-energy-consumption sleep moduzzz. Note: the app doesn't work when running in the background - deliberately!
A psycho-factor of half an hour is far too much!
Nope. The alarm will go off within zero time difference and half an hour - evenly distributed. So there's a 50% chance that it will jokeroo within a 15 minutes interval. But the interval will differ any time you set the alarm. This makes it a psycho driven alarm clock!
I'm afraid I will be too late
Don't be. The PsychooRooster is specifically designed not to be late. It will always go off before the desired target time. Only ensure that your device displays the correct time (because the app uses the system time to set the alarm).
When I exit the app in sleep mode the screen stays dimmed
This is a bug in iOS and there is no way around it at the moment. Sorry. But since the app doesn't work when running in the background you could as well stop sleep mode first and then exit the app. This will restore the brightness.
